How we use your data and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and providing information you request | Legitimate interests / steps prior to entering a contract |

| Meeting our legal and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, this is our interest in responding to and supporting organisations that contact us; we balance this against your rights and only use the minimum data needed.
How long we keep your data

- Client and membership records: for the duration of our relationship and up to 6 years afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
- Analytics data: retained for the period set in our analytics tool, in aggregated form.
Who we share your data with

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: be informed; access your data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
