People come to The Build Room for all sorts of reasons. Some have an idea they’ve been sitting on for months and just need help to get it off the ground. Some are running a CIC or community project and feel like they’re spinning plates. Others want someone experienced to talk things through with, someone who understands the journey and won’t drown them in jargon.
There’s no “one size fits all”. We simply start with a conversation, get a feel for where you are now, and work out what you need next. Whatever the situation, the aim is always the same: to give you practical support, honest advice and the confidence to move forward.

People come to us for all sorts of reasons. Some need help with one specific piece of work. Others want ongoing support as they grow. There’s no fixed route, we simply start with a conversation and work out what you need.
One-Off Support
Not everyone needs ongoing support, and that’s completely fine. A lot of people come to us for help with one specific thing, setting up a CIC, writing a funding application, reviewing governance, developing policies or planning a new project.
For that, we offer clear, fixed-fee support so you know exactly what you’re getting and what it will cost. If you only need help with one thing, you don’t need a membership. Just book the piece of work you need, and we’ll take it from there.
Ongoing Membership Support
Some organisations want regular access to advice, guidance and a sounding board throughout the year. For them, our memberships provide ongoing support as they grow and develop.
Some people start with a one-off project and later join a membership. Others join from day one. There’s no right or wrong, it all depends on what you need and where you are on the journey.
